Track stats against players you've played before.

DESCRIPTION

Rocket League Rivals

Ever wonder if you've played against someone before or how often you run into a particular player? Curious about your win percentage against frequent opponents? That was my dilemma, and that's why I created Rocket League Rivals.

Rocket League Rivals is designed to track and display player interactions and statistics during Rocket League matches. This plugin provides detailed stats to help you analyze your performance against teammates and rivals, all calculated into a fun, though somewhat arbitrary, point system.

Usage

The Rocket League Rivals plugin displays various stats about the players in your matches, presented in a customizable on-screen overlay.

Displayed Stats

  • Player Name: The name of the player.
  • Wins With: Percentage of matches won with this player on your team.
  • Wins Against: Percentage of matches won against this player.
  • Demos Given / Received: Number of times you demolished this player and that this player has demolished you.
  • Rivalry Score: A calculated score indicating the intensity of your rivalry with this player.

Customization Options

  • Align Display Right: Align the stats display to the right side of the screen.
  • Enable Logging: Enable or disable logging of player stats to a file.
  • Hide My Team: Hide stats for players on your team.
  • Hide Rival Team: Hide stats for players on the opposing team.
  • Show All Wins/Losses Stats: Show detailed win/loss stats for all players.
  • Show Team Stats: Show team-based stats.
  • Show Demo Stats: Show demolition stats.
  • Show Rival Stats: Show rivalry scores for players.

The points are just for fun and serve as a way to keep track of your stats. You can also customize various settings within the plugin.

TODO

Here are a few items on my list to enhance Rocket League Rivals:

  • Fix Logging to File: The enable logging to a file option is currently not functioning as expected. While logs appear in the BakkesMod console, they do not write out to a file. I'm investigating this issue.
  • Database Integration: I plan to add an option to track this data on a wider scale by integrating a database. Currently, the data is saved locally only.
