DESCRIPTION

Kickoff Boost Manager is a BakkesMod plugin inspired by Lethamyr's video “Rocket League NEVER makes balance changes... so I did”. It enhances kickoff gameplay by automatically setting players' boost levels to a customizable percentage at the start of each round. With easy-to-use settings, players can enable or disable the boost adjustment and fine-tune the boost amount. This plugin ensures smoother kickoffs, promotes balanced play, and provides additional customization options for casual or competitive matches.

Kickoff Boost Manager installation

1. If you recieve a prompt asking to open "Open plugininstaller.exe", click "Open" to install the plugin with BakkesMod

2. A black window will open to tell you the installation status

3. When the black window tells you it's finished, you're ready to start using the plugin!

Kickoff Boost Manager installation

  1. Find your BakkesMod installation location
    • This will be found by opening the BakkesMod Injector window and going to the top menu, clicking "File -> Open BakkesMod Folder"
  2. Copy the downloaded ZIP's files to the same locations in the BakkesMod folder.
  3. After copying the files, launch Rocket League and ensure the plugin works by opening the F6 console and typing plugin load [plugin DLL file name]
  4. If the plugin works, in the BakkesMod folder edit the "cfg/plugins.cfg" file with notepad. At the very bottom, add a new line with the content plugin load [plugin DLL file name]
