Hides the "Server: ...." top left when you open the scoreboard...anywhere.

DESCRIPTION

Hides the Server name for streamers so they dont get remotely ddos'd by a sniper.

This is not anti DDOS. This is DDOS Prevention. If the DDOSER is in the same game as you and they DDOS, the server will still be screwed. This is mainly for streamers in private matches. Works in online games though.

Where does it redact info?

  • When joining a private match it will show " Joining 'REDACTED' " instead of " Joining ' the entire server name ' "
  • Top Left when opening the scoreboard it will show only the region of the server.
  • Hard Censor which will put a visual blockaid over the server address.

ServerNameHider installation

1. If you recieve a prompt asking to open "Open plugininstaller.exe", click "Open" to install the plugin with BakkesMod

2. A black window will open to tell you the installation status

3. When the black window tells you it's finished, you're ready to start using the plugin!

ServerNameHider installation

  1. Find your BakkesMod installation location
    • This will be found by opening the BakkesMod Injector window and going to the top menu, clicking "File -> Open BakkesMod Folder"
  2. Copy the downloaded ZIP's files to the same locations in the BakkesMod folder.
  3. After copying the files, launch Rocket League and ensure the plugin works by opening the F6 console and typing plugin load [plugin DLL file name]
  4. If the plugin works, in the BakkesMod folder edit the "cfg/plugins.cfg" file with notepad. At the very bottom, add a new line with the content plugin load [plugin DLL file name]
