An in-game overlay for currently playing media

MusicSync

In-game overlay to display the current media playing using the Windows Media API. NOT MAC/LINUX COMPATIBLE

Whatever media is most recently started will show in the in-game overlay. This means, if you are watching a Youtube video, and then playing another Youtube video, the new video will take over.

Compatibilitiy

This is app agnostic, so as long as the application supports the Windows Media API, the overlay will populate. You can see if your media player is supported on Windows 11 by locking your screen and seeing if the media control panel is on:

MusicSync installation

1. If you recieve a prompt asking to open "Open plugininstaller.exe", click "Open" to install the plugin with BakkesMod

2. A black window will open to tell you the installation status

3. When the black window tells you it's finished, you're ready to start using the plugin!

MusicSync installation

  1. Find your BakkesMod installation location
    • This will be found by opening the BakkesMod Injector window and going to the top menu, clicking "File -> Open BakkesMod Folder"
  2. Copy the downloaded ZIP's files to the same locations in the BakkesMod folder.
  3. After copying the files, launch Rocket League and ensure the plugin works by opening the F6 console and typing plugin load [plugin DLL file name]
  4. If the plugin works, in the BakkesMod folder edit the "cfg/plugins.cfg" file with notepad. At the very bottom, add a new line with the content plugin load [plugin DLL file name]
